7 Hilarious struggles only cat owners will understand

Every fur parent knows the fact that no one can actually own a cat. It won’t be wrong to state that dogs have owner while cats have staff. The complex creatures are a perfect companion of humans, but really difficult to understand. Having a furry friend in your life is rewarding, but there are certain struggles that every cat owner ends up facing.

If you are one of the lucky fur parent or know someone who owns a cat, then, you’ll definitely relate to these 7 struggles and the potential solutions for the same.

1. The breakfast is ready, master!

Hungry Cat

The early morning treats that every kitty brings for their human is disgusting, but hilarious at the same time. The kitties are in a habit of bringing their preys home.

Solution: The only way to get rid of the problem is to channel her hunting instinct with proper training. Discourage her from going out of the house. Get some artificial mouse and birds, so that, the kitty is engaged and don’t get indulged in hunting.

2. Either you can have a kitty or a tree, you can’t have both

Cat with Christmas tree

Whether you wanna plant a tree in the garden or you are planning to deck out your Christmas tree, it is just not possible if you have a feline around.

Solution: Keep the plant at a position where the cat can’t reach. You can even cover the plants with a fence made of net, in order to keep the feline away. Make sure to leave some space for the kitties to play. Celebrating a cat-proof Christmas is tricky. You can keep the feline engaged with cat toys and stuff like that.

3. Why is it so warm of I can’t sit here?

Cat on Keyboard

You can’t have your laptop and use it too, if you have a feline at home. The warmth of the keyboard intrigues the kitties to love you the most when you’ve got some important work to do.

Solution: Never bring the work home. You won’t complete it anyways. Or else you can put a shelf with the a food bowl near your table. The tasty treat will definitely distract the feline to some extend allowing you complete your work.

4. Oh! You’ve got work? Let me help you!

If you leave papers and gadget like printed unprotected, then, the kitty will definitely deal with it aggressively. Most of the kitty owners must have witnessed their highly confidential and important papers turning into pieces.

Solution: As mentioned above, the best way to deal with it is to avoid working at home. Or else you can lock yourself in a room and complete the work before the kitty notices something interesting in your hands.

5. I need to learn everything about the modern technology!

Cat with Phone

Scratches on the phone and furr-niture is a regular sight in the houses that have kitties.

Solution: Discourage the scratching habits of the kitties. Get some scratching post, so that, feline spares your expensive furniture. Protect your handset phone cases. You can even get cat theme phone accessories that will adorn your cell and protect it from furry attack.

6. It used to be a toilet paper!

Cat with toilet paper

The love of kitties for the toilet paper is well-known. No matter what you do, you just can’t distract the kitties if they get an access to your bathroom.

Solution: In order to prevent your cats from unraveling a roll of toilet paper, one remedy is to install a toilet roll dispenser. You can apply an aversive spray on a sheet of toilet paper or tissue, then cover it on top of a tissue box or a toilet paper roll. This will discourage your cat from going back.

7. Every one is fast asleep. It is time for me to take a quick round of the house without any reason

Cat running around the home

Felines running around the house aimlessly is one of the craziest thing you’ll see. The most common reason for this crazy behavior is burning off the excess energy.

Solution: Kitties spend most of the time of the day sleeping. Engage them in some physical activities and make them play their favorite games. They won’t disturb you at night if they are exhausted.

10 Things you can Learn from your Cat

There is no need of educator in the house that has a cat. We do train and teach our kitties, so that, they can adjust in our world. However, there are a lot of things that our furry friends can teach us if we decide to be the intrepid explorers like our kitties.

Here are some of the life changing lessons that we need to pick up from our kitties.

1.Aim high

This is a lifetime lesson that my little feline has taught. Regardless of your size and potential, you should always aim to conquer the highest peak. You must have seen the kitties analyzing the height and distance of a particular spot. They jump and fall down. The story is not over yet. They try again and keep on trying unless they end up breaking everything and creating a mess.

2.Take it easy

This is something everyone of us need to learn from our cats. I don’t know why we are always in a hurry. Why don’t we just sit and relax. We need to learn from our kitties that spending some ‘me’ time is important. The things that are not important can wait and the things that are very important... can wait as well!

3. Worship nature

Humans spend hours wasting their time in front of laptops and computers. However, there are so many things that nature offers us like birds and.... more birds. So, we just need to sit back and spend some time in creative bird viewing.

4. Hold your emotions

You need me as expressive as the doggies all the time. Even if you are having fun, you just can have a straight face and go ahead with whatever you’re doing. It is absolutely okay to let others guess what you’re thinking and how you’re feeling.

5. Respect the personal space

Respect the personal space of others and make them respect your privacy. Any intruders in our comfort zone should be immediately kicked out before they invade our privacy.

6. Stick to your loved ones

Always stay close to your loved ones, especially when they are working. Sit on their laptops, tear apart their papers and help them type whatever they want to.

7. Keep a balance between rest and work

Keeping a balance between rest and work is the best way to stay healthy. 15 to 18 hours of sleep in a day is enough, but you should work at least for 2 hours. Avoid sleeping at night and don’t let others sleep as well.

8. Pose well

Photo bombing is the best and the most creative way using your spare time. Just pose in front of the camera and let the world admire your beauty.

9. Get rid of the things that are not important

Humans are generally not good at throwing the unimportant things away. This is what the felines teach us, to get rid of everything that is a waste. Whether it’s the cat mask, cat collars or the furniture at home, you need to scratch everything away.

10. Selfless love

Finally, this one thing that everyone of us need to learn from our furry friends. They teach us how to love unconditionally and selflessly.
