There are very few things in the world that a cat loves and loves it with his/her whole heart. Food is definitely one of them but that’s not! There are a few more things that your feline friends love and that’s exactly you need to make sure she gets in order to provide her a happy and healthy life.
1. You
Cats are intelligent beings and if they love anything above their cat food is you. Not all of you (the entire family) but the one who would pet her and shower the love & affection on her. Moreover, it is not only about the pure breeds but the feral cats to love to interact with humans. It is just you who needs to spend more time with them and interact in the language they understand - love.
2. Playing
Who doesn’t like playing around? With so many cat toys available online, you can imbibe the habit of playing for the desired time with your kitty. This span of time serves as the human-cat bonding as well as allows the feline to stretch out and learn newer things for that matter. Whether you give them toys to fetch or it is the real kill situation, they’ll give their best shot at it.
3. Happening surroundings
Whether it is the birds sitting on a tree branch chirping sweetly or squirrels jumping around, cats love to sit and watch everything happening around them. It is more like - they like it when something is constantly happening around rather than being monotonous. If things are still, they’re boring for them. Moreover, the birds and squirrels provoke your feline for a chase which leads to either a prey well caught or a day of practice with nothing in hand.
4. Food
Who doesn’t like food? My cat would start jumping from her place when she saw my mom head to the kitchen and would constantly make noise until she would feed her something. Food is cat’s weakness and she would do anything to make sure her stomach is filled with her favorite cat food. Have you ever tried to stop your cat in the midway of eating or when they ask for it? You’d find those eyes go brighter and shinier begging for food or they’ll snatch it from you the moment they realize you’re out of focus.
5. Sleep
A kitty can be equally active as lazy she can get. Nobody can between her and the sleep. While there’ll be those cats who’ll wake up the moment you pick a packet of chips and then there’ll be those who would prefer to stay comfy in their bed even when you blow drums around them and dance around with food in your hand. Probably they’re in the charge mode and when they’ll wake up, they’ll be back in action.
6. Scratching
Isn’t this what they love doing a lot? No wonder why cat’s scratching posts were introduced to all the cat parents. They enjoy using their sharp claws to scratch anything and everything that comes across them. Hence, having a scratch post helps them focus on scratching the respective item and abstain the kitty from destroying your furniture or walls.
7. Hiding
It might be instinctual by nature for a cat to hide, but no matter how happy your cat feels to socialize with everyone, she would definitely find time to hide and leave everyone else guessing of her whereabouts. Whether it is the cardboard box or the terrace, she would love to hide and wants others to find her.
